Which Complementary Therapy Will Help Me?

With so many to choose from how can you be sure which complementary therapy is best for your needs? We know that it can be confusing to be faced with so many choices, so we make every effort to ensure that you get the therapy that suits you best.

first contact

When you first make contact with us, you will almost certainly speak to one of our experienced receptionists, Hazel Lawrence or Polly Donald.

After discussing your problem with you briefly, she will either make an appointment for you with one of the Centre's therapists or ask the therapist to speak to you on the telephone prior to your first consultation.

We do not make any kind of diagnosis over the telephone. Diagnoses and courses of treatment are made and agreed only after an examination by one or more of our practitioners.

range of therapies

We are proud to offer a wide range of therapies at the Centre. Some of our patients know exactly what they need before they come to us; others do not.

The therapist will decide whether to take you on as a patient, or to refer you to another of the Centre's practitioners. He or she will ask you about your symptoms in enough detail to make that decision - and no more.

The decision by a therapist to offer you a first session of treatment (or not to do so) is not a diagnosis and does not commit the therapist to continue treating you thereafter.
